This amazing preview of Pierre Debusschere's new exhibition, I KNOW SIMPLY THAT THE SKY WILL LAST LONGER THAN I, is absolutely breathtaking. I'd love to be able to see the whole 52 minute film, but as I'm not heading to Hyeres festival, this beautiful preview will simply have to do...

Marcelo Krasilcic
Marcelo Krasilcic captured the 90s with his beautiful photographs which are being exhibited at Collette Paris. They have also been published in a two-volume cloth bound book. The book is a "collection of fashion, portraits, interiors, nudes and personal photos of friends, family and lovers taken in the 1990s." I really love these photos, they are so unique and dynamic.
His work has appeared in several fashion publications such as Dazed & Confused, Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Elle and Vogue Hommes International. He created campaigns for Nike, Moêt & Chandon and Bergdorf Goodman among many others; and photographed actors and musicians such as Willem Dafoe, Joaquin Phoenix, M.I.A., Caetano Veloso and Drake. Not bad going really.

Romance Was Born
Australian brand Romance Was Born have been around since 2005 creating beautifully, wonderfully pretty clothes. I first saw their pieces when I was in Perth a couple of years ago now, and have kept an eye on what they have been up to since then. Their most recent collection "Lil Lord Fauntleroy" is absolutely gorgeous, I love every single piece! The lookbook is also stunning... take a peek...

Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2013 Couture
Another of my favourites from Couture Fashion Week was Maison Martin Margiela. It's so beautifully eclectic with rich embroidered silks and floral velvet embossed chiffons. I love the layering of mid length skirts over silk trousers and the slap-dash painted platforms. The second of Margiela's couture collections, it is primarily up-cycled as was the first. A far cry from the relentless, perfection exhibited in the Valentino collection, however, the result is the same, beautifully crafted garments that show everybody how it's done.
This piece is rather unbelievably made from thousands of metallic sweet wrappers embroidered onto pongee silk. The candy "fur" took 70 hours to make.

Pearly queen!
This is what I wore for our big celebratory night out for exams ending. Well, we got snowed in, so we just stayed in and proceeded to drink a lot of gin with some friends at the manor. We had such a lovely night, some of our new housemates came to meet everybody, it was a little bit like an initiation. Anyway, I took a post picture to show you what I wore, to a party, in my own house.
My Mother is too stylish for her own good!
I am in love with this editorial shot for MILK styled by Katy Lassen and shot by Jackie Dixon. It kind of has a feel of This is England but is also very Annie Hall. I love it because it also reminds me of my Mum's style too. She has always worn her fathers (my Grandfather) cravats and liberty print silk ties teemed with tailored Vivienne Westwood pants and jackets. It's no secret my Mum has always been my main influence and so her chic androgynous style is something I like to think I have inherited somewhat. She always says she owns more mens clothes than women's, and I have followed in her footsteps.
This makeup is amazing, I am probably going to have a go at copying it at some point.
I love the acid bright yellow fur and orange pants amidst the dusty greys and rich navy blues.
This shot in particular - I can definitely see my Mum wearing something like this.
Hope you love it as much as I do!

Fred Perry Turns 60!
To celebrate reaching an impressive 60 years, Fred Perry have teamed up with Dover Street Market so commemorate the occasion by commissioning various creatives to redesign and re-imagine the original 1952 polo shirt. The 25 unique pieces are on display for the time being at Dover Street Market and will later be auctioned off to raise money for the Amy Winehouse foundation. The creatives include photographic power duo Inez and Vinoodh, painter Horace Panter, graphic designer Neville Brody and London based fashion label Sibling.
As well as the bespoke pieces, British designers Simone Rocha, Giles, Christopher Raeburn and JW Anderson have created a limited edition run of shirts which are on sale now exclusively at Dover Street Market. I absolutely love the mesh polo shirt by Simone Rocha, I might have to try and get my hands on one!
The gorgeous shirt-come-dress designed by Bora Aksu.
I absolutely adore this take on the 1952 polo by Sibling.
My particular favourite piece by Asylum.
Rediculously clever shirt by Michael Lau.
Another insanely clever piece from Hiroko Taka Hashi.
